Defeat at Tottenham at the start of April confirmed Southampton’s relegation from the Premier League. That game also marked the end of the road for Ivan Jurić, who left the club having won just two of his 16 matches in charge. Jurić faced a tough task when arriving on the south coast in late December, inheriting a side who had accumulated just five points from a possible 48, finding themselves rooted to the bottom of the table.
Simon Rusk has taken the reins until the end of the campaign, assisted by former England international Adam Lallana. Rusk, who was in charge when the Saints visited Craven Cottage back in December, began his latest interim spell with a 3-0 home defeat against Aston Villa, but a stoppage-time Lesley Ugochukwu goal rescued a point at West Ham last time out.

Team News
😇 A clean bill of health for Rusk, with no fresh injury concerns in the Saints camp.
🤍 Rodrigo Muniz is set to miss out again, although Emile Smith Rowe could return to the squad. Reiss Nelson remains sidelined.
