This Saturday, ahead of Fulham’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace, fans in the Riverside Stand at Craven Cottage will be able to find out their blood type, as well as register to become a blood donor.

The Club collaborated with NHS Blood & Transplant earlier this season, when they visited the Training Ground to meet Tom Cairney and Ryan Sessegnon and test their blood type. Tom is O+, which is the most common in the UK, but Ryan’s blood is a rare A-, which is shared by just 8% of the population.

The need for new people to join this lifesaving community is greater than ever, especially young people (17-35) and donors of Black heritage to help grow and diversify the donor base. Giving blood is quick and easy, and your donation can save the lives of up to three adults or six babies.

Head over to their stall (located between RO4-RO5) before kick-off on Saturday, or visit blood.co.uk, to find out more.
