Antonee Robinson was left frustrated with the manner of Fulham’s defeat by Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage.
“It’s a really tough one to take,” he said. “Going up against a team like that, we know they’re going to come with physicality, aggression. If you concede first it’s going to be hard to get back from that.
“The chances weren’t really falling for us today – we were obviously trying, but no shots on target, so we didn’t really create anything clear-cut. Yeah, very disappointing.
“We’re obviously looking to try and climb the table and get as many points as we can, so it was a good opportunity for us today, a winnable game, but in the end it does feel like we deserved to lose, and we’ve got to give credit to them.”

The full-back reflected on the two goals which he feels should not have happened, for different reasons – the first because of a foul on Calvin Bassey in the build-up, and the second he would have liked to have seen Jean Philippe-Mateta stopped before he could assist Daniel Munoz.
“First one’s disappointing, but lads are getting pushed in the box, which isn’t given,” Jedi stated. “In the lead up to it, for me, Calvin’s fouled.
“He’s been clamped by two people – whether one’s got the ball or not, the other one touches him which means it’s a foul, so that was a bit disappointing.

“Second goal was just naïve from us – a counter-attack, and lads have just got to make fouls, take a yellow card, just end the attack. We haven’t done, and they’ve punished us, which any team can in the Premier League.”
More often than not this season, the boys have responded positively to a defeat – a trend Robinson is keen to maintain away to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday night.
“We’ll dust ourselves down, we’ve obviously got the game Tuesday so we’re going to have to get our minds ready for that game now, recover and go again, have a positive reaction like we’ve had many times this year.”
