Aaron Loupalo-Bi opened his Dagenham & Redbridge account in Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Oldham Athletic.

On just his fourth start for the Daggers, Azza opened the scoring against promotion hopefuls Oldham, pinning a defender, rolling the ball onto his right foot before rifling a powerful shot beyond Tom Donaghy.

Dagenham boss Lewis Young praised Azza for his performance, saying: “I thought he was outstanding. He was strong, dynamic and powerful. He got his rewards and he’s deserved it over the last couple of games.”

Elsewhere in the National League, Connor McAvoy and Wealdstone made it three wins on the spin with a 4-2 victory against Ebbsfleet United.

Connor is enjoying his second loan spell at the Stones, who continue to drag themselves away from relegation danger. Wealdstone have only lost one of the five games that Connor has started since returning to the club.

Overseas, Adrion Pajaziti helped HNK Gorica to an important 1-0 win over HNK Šibenik. Adrion, who has recently returned from a thigh injury, has made 11 appearances in the Croatian top flight this season.

Olly Sanderson featured off the bench as Harrogate Town were defeated by in-form Bromley, while there was also a substitute appearance for Terry Ablade, who was introduced to the action in the 75th minute as Partick Thistle were held to a 1-1 draw by Airdrieonians.
