Jon Esenga has been nominated for the PL2 Player of the Month award for December.
Our U21s side only played one game during December but it ended in a 4-0 victory for our Young Whites against Derby County, with Esenga claiming an assist and helping keep a clean sheet.
The left-back found Callum Osmand with a pinpoint cross to give Hayden Mullins’ side a 2-0 lead against the Rams at Motspur Park.
Jon is up against Aodhan Doherty (Blackburn Rovers), Daniel Gore (Manchester United), Harry Howell (Brighton & Hove Albion), Adian Manning (Norwich City), Jack Moorhouse (Manchester United), Cameron Peupion (Brighton & Hove Albion) and Daniel Ogwuru (Norwich City) for the award.
