At Fulham FC Foundation, we take pride in the quality of our coaches and the positive impact they make in schools and across the community. A standout example is Darrell Mothee, who has been working closely with Indigo Class at one of our partner schools, Dorchester Primary School in Worcester Park.
Delivered through the Premier League Primary Stars programme, Darrell’s weekly sessions combine expert coaching with a passion for inclusion and learning. His work has made a real impression on both pupils and staff.
Divya Patel, Indigo Class Teacher at Dorchester Primary, shared her appreciation: “Darrell has been a fantastic asset to our PE programme, bringing a wealth of knowledge, energy, and professionalism to each session. His friendly and approachable nature has earned the respect of our students, and his lessons have quickly become a weekly favourite.”

Darrell’s sessions not only help pupils develop their physical skills but also support teachers in building confidence and improving their delivery of PE. His clear demonstrations, expert guidance, and well-organised approach have strengthened the school’s overall physical education offer.
“Darrell’s ability to demonstrate techniques and support children with care and clarity has had a noticeable impact,” said Divya. “He’s also been an excellent role model, creating an inclusive and encouraging environment for all children.”

Darrell reflected on the value of the programme: “The Premier League Primary Stars programme adds real value to schools like Dorchester. It’s rewarding to support teachers, share ideas, and create engaging, inclusive lessons. Seeing students and staff grow in confidence each week is what makes this work so meaningful.”
We’re proud of the difference our coaches make not just through sport, but by inspiring confidence, teamwork, and a love for learning.
