The latest exciting update from the Health & Wellbeing team at Fulham FC Foundation is the successful launch of Fulham Memories sessions in the borough of Kingston. This expansion comes thanks to funding from Kingston Council, supporting the growth of the Fulham Teammates programme in the area.
Since April, the Foundation has hosted its first Fulham Memories session at Tudor Drive Library on Monday mornings, aimed at elderly adults in the community. In addition, a monthly session has launched at Chessington Sports Centre, in partnership with Square 1 Café.
We spoke to one participant from the new Tudor Drive Library sessions, who shared the positive impact it has had on her:
“The staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome. People attending the sessions are friendly, funny, and we get along very well. I also enjoy doing the different activities, they can be challenging as well as fun. The programme is very well designed.”

“We have been working closely with Kingston Council, who have provided funding for us to launch new Fulham Memories sessions across the borough,” said Chloe Windmill, Health Development Officer at Fulham FC Foundation.
“Expanding the Fulham Teammates programme with the support of RBK has enabled us to promote positive physical wellbeing and socialisation to more elderly members of the community and enhance their quality of life.”
The good news doesn’t stop there. Later this summer, the programme will expand to a third venue, with sessions launching at Kingston Library, located in the heart of the town centre.
