Earlier in June, Playermaker joined Fulham FC at Motspur Park for a full day of content capture, offering an insider’s view of how Fulham uses Playermaker technology.
Fulham coaches monitored each exercise using Playermaker sensors, receiving data reports on both technical and physical performance. As drills began, data was streamed directly to the coaches, providing instant insights to guide players in real time.

Midfielders and defenders ran close-control drills focusing on ball touches and turns, while attackers tested kicking velocity in purpose-built shooting exercises. Coaches tracked metrics such as time on the ball, release duration, and release foot zones, then offered targeted and personalised feedback that players could apply immediately.

At the end of the session, players gathered around screens to compare their time on the ball and kicking velocity readings. That moment of reflection transformed raw data into actionable insights, as coaches mapped out follow-up drills tailored to each player’s strengths and areas for improvement.

Behind the scenes, our media crew captured interviews with Fulham’s coaching staff on how Playermaker data has reshaped training and player analysis—alongside dynamic B-roll footage showing sensor overlays syncing seamlessly with on-pitch action. This content will bring to life the impact of our collaboration and highlight how Playermaker technology is already embedded in the Academy’s daily routines.
We spoke to Joe Antonelli, Fulham FC U16 Head Coach, about the benefits of using Playermaker: “For us, the training needs to be monitored in terms of loads, so we use Playermaker to objectify the data. It allows us to make sure we develop a programme that aligns with what the players physically need for their development.”

This partnership demonstrates Fulham FC Academy’s commitment to player development, integrating Playermaker analytics into weekly training sessions, development reports, and coach education programmes to drive personalized improvement across all age groups.
Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes access to how this collaboration is shaping tomorrow’s First Team stars.
