The Belgian right-back had to stay patient at the start of the season and was fighting out with Kenny Tete for a starting position, but has stepped up admirably upon Kenny's injury in December.

"My performances have just been down to working hard," said Castagne. "I kept fitness and had to stay ready to step up."

Timo has previous in the Emirates FA Cup, winning the competition in 2021 with Leicester City. Having tasted glory once, he is even more motivated to bring success to Fulham.

"Obviously I've won this competion once before, so it would be an unbelievable feeling to win it here!"
