A dedicated Fulham fan is gearing up for a unique challenge, cycling from London to Brighton in support of the Fulham FC Foundation. A lifelong supporter and season ticket holder in the Johnny Haynes Stand, Ollie is taking part in the Away Day Cycle, a long-distance ride that combines his love for football with a worthy cause.

Despite being only an occasional cyclist, he has taken on a few activities across the UK and Europe before. This time, he’s chosen the 69-mile challenge route over the longer 101-mile endurance route, admitting that his training hasn’t been as rigorous as he’d hoped - partly due to following Fulham to away matches.

When asked which Fulham player he’d like to cycle alongside, he picked former goalkeeper Jim Stannard, suggesting he might finally have a chance to win a race. His motivation for taking part is simple, to support the club and the Foundation’s incredible work. "The power of football is so strong," he says, emphasising how the sport can make a real difference in people’s lives.

What is Ollie looking forward to the most? "Reaching Brighton and celebrating with fellow fans before watching Fulham take on Brighton & Hove Albion." As an optimist, he’s looking forward to the match and is hoping for a positive result.

For those considering a similar challenge, his advice is clear: “Don’t overthink it - just do it! It’s always worth it." For those supporting him through donations, he expresses his gratitude, highlighting that the funds raised will go towards a worthy cause.

With his passion for Fulham and a determined spirit, he’s ready to take on the ride - fuelled by football, community and the drive to make a difference.
