Melcombe Primary School visited Craven Cottage on Friday morning as part of an Education Activation, ahead of International Women’s Day this weekend.
Melcombe are a valued partner school who receive regular Premier League Primary Stars delivery, funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund.
We welcomed 20 pupils to take part in several workshops, including a careers panel with our Head of People, Head of Media Relations, Senior Commercial Manager, and a Foundation Coach who was previously a participant with Fulham FC Foundation.

The workshop generated plenty of curiosity and provided the pupils with an opportunity to ask our inspiring female workforce a range of questions about their careers.
We were then joined by Fulham FC Women’s players Olivia Dale and Stella Gandee Morgan for a special tour of Craven Cottage.

As an extra surprise, Olivia and Stella also invited the girls in attendance to be ball persons and flag bearers at their league fixture against Ebbsfleet later this month.
“I would like to extend our thanks to Melcombe Primary School for being part of such an inspiring event. The behaviour of the pupils was exemplary and we were able to create many jaw-dropping moments. Hopefully we will see these young girls within our workforce in years to come.” - Kayleigh Bowers, Primary Education Manager, Fulham FC Foundation
