The opposition

Everton were just one point clear of the drop zone when David Moyes returned the the club, but three wins in his first four matches – followed by just one defeat in the next seven – ended any relegation fears as they put 17 points between themselves and the bottom three.

Their form has tailed off a little since, though, taking just five points from the last 18 available, most recently squandering a two goal lead to draw with already relegated Ipswich Town in their penultimate Goodison Park fixture.

🤍 Timothy Castagne has had surgery on his ankle and will miss the remainder of the season, while Harrison Reed joins Rodrigo Muniz and Reiss Nelson on the treatment table after the premature end to his afternoon at Villa Park. Saša Lukić will also miss the game through a minor injury.

🍬 Orel Mangala, James Tarkowski and Jesper Lindstrom are all out for the rest of this campaign, but Abdoulaye Doucoure is available again having missed the Ipswich draw for personal reasons.

Programme

Kenny Tete takes centre stage in the penultimate official matchday programme of the season.

After a gruelling spell on the sidelines, the Dutchman is back doing what he loves - defending with composure, contributing with confidence, and bidding to help Fulham finish the campaign in style.

“I felt like I was on an island,” he said. “Everyone sees the games and the points, but I was just missing football so much. I couldn’t speed anything up. I just had to wait. It was very challenging, but I learned a lot. I saw a different side of the sport.”

Elsewhere in the publication, we caught up with former Everton and Fulham man John Collins, Harrison Reed answers some random questions, and we get to know FFC Women’s star Jade Bradley.

Ken Coton delves into his picture archive to recall previous clashes with the Toffees, Marco Silva, Tom Cairney and Gentleman Jim supply their regular notes, and Brodie Dair is the focus of our Academy Ace feature. We also spoke to Fulham fan Phil Crossley who recently entered the Guinness Book of Records for the longest career of a football referee.

Packed with a host of features, the 104-page programme will be on sale around the ground on Saturday priced £4. Alternatively, you can pick up a copy online.
