The Club is pleased to announce that Jayden Quashie has been crowned as our 2024/25 Scholar of the Year.

Presented with the award at the annual Premier League Academy Awards evening at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, Jayden has led by example for the Under-18s this season.

Captaining the U18s during the campaign, he played 16 matches across all competitions for Ali Melloul’s side, and we ended up winning 12 of those.

The Grenada U20s international also made six appearances for the U21s side this season.

Alongside his football, Jayden has undertaken a BTEC Extended Diploma in Sporting Performance and Excellence, which is the equivalent of three A-Levels.

“It’s an amazing feeling,” said Jayden. “I feel like the hard work that I’ve put in this season, both on and off the pitch, has been noticed by the club.

“The season has been tough. It started off by captaining the team to lots of wins, but I picked up an injury just before Christmas which put my season back. I was out for four months with a stress fracture in my lower back, but that allowed me to mature off the pitch and gain an understanding of things I needed to do better once I came back.

“It’s really rewarding to have received this award and it’s a massive thing for myself.”
