Background

Ali Melloul has worked with the Fulham Under-18s team since July 2018, having spent over a decade at the club's Foundation and Academy departments.

This ten-year spell saw Ali coach across several age groups within the Academy whilst also managing the club's Football and Education Programme, which supported young players aged 16-19 to gain an education and find a route back into semi-professional and professional football.

Ali is a graduate from St Marys University and has also completed the Premier Leagues's Elite Coaching Apprenticeship (ECAS).

The role

Following Steve Wigley's move into the Under-23s setup, Ali has taken over as Under-18s Head Coach. He is responsible for the day-to-day training programme for the players whilst supporting the long term development of individuals throughout the Professional Development Phase (PDP).
