Mikel plays with maturity beyond his years. The captain of the U16 side last season, Mikel has been at Fulham since the Under-9s stage.

A battling midfield player with great endurance, the 16-year-old spent the second half of the season playing up with the U18. He even travelled to the Dallas Cup, and was one of the best players on the pitch in our 2-2 draw with FC Dallas at the Cotton Bowl Stadium.
