Samuel joined us from Brentford when their Academy disbanded. A versatile defender who is comfortable on both feet, Samuel signed his first professional contract in May 2024 after an impressive season where he featured heavily for both the Under-18s and U21s.

The defender will have learned a lot from his experience at the 2024 U17s European Championships in Cyprus, where he helped England to the Quarter-Finals before a cruel penalty shootout defeat to Italy. He wore the captain’s armband during the latter stages of that Quarter-Final.

Since then, he has played seven times for England U18s and has also been named in a Premier League squad, featuring on the bench in a 1-1 draw at Tottenham Hotspur in December 2024.
