Delano comes from a footballing background, with older brothers who have played Academy and non-league football.

The 20-year-old is an athletic midfielder who looks to model his game on Yaya Toure and Kevin De Bruyne.

Delano earned his first Jamaica cap in March 2023, featuring for the Reggae Boyz against Trinidad and Tobago.
